...looking for something? I doubt you'll find it here. Since you are, though - here, that is - take a minute and leave a message.
"Okay, here's what you believe. If something is not on this list, then it is not true for you. Questions?" said the instructor, his eyes narrowing slightly.
Do you want to live that way? Actually, most everyone does, although they come by their beliefs in tiny doses, gradually through experiences and observations within their group. Long before they see where their group's system of beliefs and their practices (doctrine) are heading, they're locked in and have little choice but to stay silent. This happened very quickly with the Jonestown cult, and it has before and will again, so it seems, with the Grand Dogmatic Systems currently active.... By the numbers, each sect is in a minority and surrounded by "heathens"
Is there no better way? The Ba'hai and other aggregate faiths don't seem to ever have been expanding beyond their initial congregations. A few, like the Shakers, in hindsight were doomed from the start by their dogma.
This is a free website, online years before Wix and other hosting services which have blossomed since. Being free, there are some advertisements delivered in an overlay, if there's no mouse or keyboard activity for a minute or so. But the ad page is actually interesting and can point to selected news stories...rather like People Magazine in its focus. Not annoying, like those Doctor Oz ads or a certain radio come-on about "Freedom Checks."
Without separation, secrecy and social insulation, civilization is not possible Architects, besides performing incredible feats of rendering a Patron's vision into a sound design, serve to take any political heat away from the stonemasons and crew, who must remain culturally neutral while they build structures for moneyed heathens. The same neutrality is kept also by smaller forges and carvers who will contract to make religious icons for (almost) any Faith. I apologise for any wrongs I perpetrated in my youth. I hope your own life course was not altered much. To the Planners for whom we are useful idiots and endless entertainment, I can only speak for myself. Go fish. |
